He coulda been a contender!!

So as promised many many moons ago heres my take on Marbo.

I convered the Ripper Pistol from a las pistol arm and a Space Marine Scout combat shotgun, I wanted it to look real nasty and something only a super human like Marbo could use.
Marbos most useful turn two demo charge has a massive effect on the battlefield, really put the whillies up your opponent cos they just dont know where the sneeky bugger is hiding!!
I built the model as per a normal guardsman then repositioned the arms with pins and a wee bit of green stuff. The Gillie suit is made from small pieces of bandage after pulling the weave apart and soaking in neat PVA wood glue, allowed it to set on the figure then sprayed black and painted. Quite simple to do and I have to say Im rather pleased with the result.

Vendetta, Vendetta Vendetta!!!

So, after a long long long time since my last blog post I've decided to have another go at the blogging lark.

I've gone through a long repaint of most of my armour now. The Executioner and Demolisher are finished and the 4 Chimeras are all but done. I've a Marbo conversion done and most of my infantry are finished. I've converted a nice "airborne" assault squad which still need painting and I've still got a half dozen special weapon guardsmen to paint and 2 more Vendettas one of which is half done which should be finished tomorrow and the other is unstarted. Ive got a mate coming over from Manchester for a game on the 30th of this month and I would quite like to have it all done by then.....we shall see.

For now I've put up some pics of my finished Vendetta up to give anyone out there still looking at this blog. I hope to try to update this once a week or so.
